Web development that fits how you actually work

Some businesses need a custom application built from the ground up. Others need a fast, reliable website their team can update without calling a developer. Others need an online store that simply works on a Saturday morning when orders are coming in. We build all three, and more importantly, we help you work out which one you actually need before anyone writes a line of code. We are not tied to a single platform, so the recommendation you get from us is based on your budget, your timeline and how you want to run the site afterwards, rather than on the only thing we know how to build.

Web development that fits how you actually work
Honest advice

How to choose the right platform

This is the decision that determines your costs for years, so it is worth getting right rather than fast.

Choose a website builder when you need a professional site live quickly, your content is fairly stable, and you want to manage everything yourself without technical help. Modern builders produce genuinely good results when they are designed properly rather than assembled from a template.

Choose WordPress when content is central to your business, you publish regularly, you need flexibility that builders cannot reach, or you want full ownership and portability of your site.

Choose Shopify when selling online is the point. Trying to run a serious store on a general-purpose platform usually costs more in the long run than starting on one built for commerce.

Choose Laravel or a custom build when the site is really an application: user accounts, complex workflows, integrations with your other systems, or logic no plugin can express.

We will tell you honestly which of these fits, including when the answer is the cheapest option on the list. If a builder will serve you perfectly well, we would rather say so and keep the relationship than sell you something larger you did not need. If what you need is genuinely an application, that is our web apps and SaaS development work.

Who we build for

Where this work makes a difference

Local service businesses where the website exists to get the phone ringing and the calendar filled. Booking, enquiry forms, clear service pages and genuine local search visibility matter far more than visual novelty.

Retail and food businesses selling online, where the store has to handle products, payments, delivery options and the operational reality behind them.

Professional services that need credibility on first impression, clear service explanations and a straightforward path to enquiry.

Content and media publishers where volume, structure and speed of publishing are the whole game.

Businesses with existing sites that have gone wrong, whether slow, fragile, impossible to edit, or built by someone who has since disappeared. Rescue work is a significant part of what we do.

Included as standard

What we do beyond the build

A website is not finished when it launches. Every project includes the parts that determine whether it actually performs: sensible page structure and technical SEO foundations, speed and Core Web Vitals, accessibility, mobile behaviour tested on real devices, analytics so you can see what is happening, and security basics including SSL, backups and update routines. Because we also run SEO, AEO and GEO services, sites we build are structured from the start to be found, rather than needing that retrofitted six months later.

Pricing

What web development costs, honestly

Industry-wide ranges rather than our quotes. A well-designed site on a website builder typically sits at the lower end, in the low thousands. A custom WordPress build with bespoke design and functionality usually runs from the mid thousands upward depending on page count and complexity. A Shopify store varies with catalogue size, custom design and integrations. Laravel applications start where custom software starts, generally in the low tens of thousands, because you are buying software rather than a site. Beyond the build, budget for hosting, domain, any paid plugins or apps, and maintenance. We give you a fixed scope and price after discovery, and if a cheaper platform would meet your needs we will say so before you commit.

Why us

Why Raydiant Webs

We build across every platform in this list, so our advice is not shaped by what we happen to sell. Our team's backend depth in PHP, Python, Java and .NET means we handle the difficult end of web work, including integrations, migrations and rescuing sites others have abandoned. We run our own e-commerce operations, which means we understand stores from the operator's side rather than only the builder's side. And you own everything we produce, with documentation, whether we maintain it afterwards or you take it elsewhere.

Web development FAQ
