What we offer
A storefront built around your brand rather than a theme every other shop in your category is also using.
Products, collections, variants, payments, shipping rules, taxes and notifications configured so you are genuinely ready to trade.
Going beyond what themes allow, including custom sections, bespoke product pages and functionality built with Shopify's own tooling.
Connecting the extra capability your store needs, chosen carefully, because every app adds cost and weight.
Moving from WooCommerce, Magento, another platform or an older Shopify store, with products, customers, orders and SEO carried across properly.
Auditing and improving an existing store that gets traffic but not enough orders.
Where Shopify fits
Retailers moving online, or moving off a platform that has become more work than it is worth.
Food, gift and craft businesses where product presentation and straightforward local delivery or collection options matter.
Brands with a story to tell, where the store needs to feel like the brand rather than like a generic checkout.
Established stores that have outgrown their setup, typically slow, cluttered with apps, or held together by workarounds.
Businesses selling across channels, where the store needs to work alongside physical retail, marketplaces or social selling.
Choosing right, selling more, spending sensibly
The three decisions that make or break an online store.
Shopify, WooCommerce, or something custom?
Shopify is right for most businesses whose main activity is selling. It handles hosting, security, payments and PCI compliance, stays reliable under load, and is manageable by non-technical staff, in exchange for monthly fees and the platform's boundaries.
WooCommerce suits content-led sites adding commerce, where you want full ownership without platform fees but accept more maintenance. That is our WordPress and WooCommerce work.
A custom build makes sense only for genuinely unusual commerce, such as complex B2B pricing or fulfilment. It is the most expensive path and, for most retailers, the wrong one. We will tell you plainly which you need.
Focused on the things that actually sell
An attractive store is not the same as a store that sells. We concentrate on what affects revenue: product pages that answer the questions customers actually ask, a checkout with as little friction as possible, fast loading because slow stores lose orders before anyone sees the product, and a layout designed for phones first, since that is where most shopping now begins. We also set up the operational side properly, including inventory, order notifications and shipping rules, because a store that sells well but cannot be run efficiently just moves the problem.
What Shopify development costs, honestly
Industry ranges rather than our quotes. A well-designed store on a customised premium theme typically sits in the low to mid thousands, depending on catalogue size and how much bespoke design is involved. Fully custom theme development runs higher. Migrations are priced on the size and cleanliness of the data being moved. Beyond the build, budget for your Shopify subscription, transaction fees, any paid apps and your theme licence if you use a premium one. We keep app choices deliberate, because a stack of monthly subscriptions quietly becomes one of the larger running costs of a store.

Ways to work with us
Design, build and setup at a fixed scope and price.
Moving from another platform with data and SEO preserved.
A standalone fixed-price review of an existing store covering speed, checkout, product pages and app bloat, with prioritised recommendations. A good first step if traffic is not converting.
Bespoke sections, features and integrations on an existing store.
Updates, seasonal changes, new products and improvements.
Technologies we work with
Shopify and Shopify Plus. Liquid templating for theme development. Shopify's Online Store 2.0 sections and metafields for flexible, editor-friendly content. Shopify APIs for custom integrations. Payment gateways, shipping providers and accounting integrations relevant to Ireland, the UK and the US. Where a store connects to systems you already run, our backend team handles that side.
Why Raydiant Webs for Shopify
We are operators as well as builders. Running our own e-commerce means we have dealt with the unglamorous realities: returns, stock discrepancies, failed payments, seasonal spikes and the difference between a store that demos well and one that runs well. We also have genuine development depth, including Magento and PHP experience, so complex migrations and custom integrations are within reach rather than outsourced. And we will tell you honestly when Shopify is not your best option, which is not something a Shopify-only agency can afford to do.
Shopify development FAQ
Yes. We migrate products, variants, customers, order history and content, then set up redirects so your existing search rankings carry over rather than being lost.
Yes. Shopify is designed for that, and we make sure you are comfortable adding products, managing orders and handling day-to-day changes before we hand over.
Yes. We customise themes heavily and build custom sections and features where a theme cannot reach, so your store does not look like everyone else's.
Yes, all of it, configured for the markets you sell into so the store is genuinely ready to trade rather than technically live.
Beyond the build, you pay a monthly Shopify subscription, transaction fees, and any paid apps. We keep app usage minimal precisely because those subscriptions add up quietly.
Usually, yes. That is typically a product page, checkout friction, trust or speed problem rather than a traffic problem. We audit first and tell you what is actually costing you orders.
If selling is your main business, Shopify usually wins on reliability and ease of running. If the shop is part of a larger content-led site and you want full ownership, WooCommerce may suit better. We will advise based on your situation.
